I already use RSS in my in my professional practice, and it has changed my life. I hardly ever go to blogs, I read them in my RSS feed, and now that I can do that on an iPhone, I read them a lot more. RSS is also used on a daily basis with the Podcasts that I subscribe to. Both blogs and podcasts have given me the best professional development I’ve received in my entire education career.

Reflecting on Safety

We’ve been reflecting on safety in using blogs with students. There are many ways to take care of this and Will’s book has some excellent suggestions. Another part of the discussion is keeping the fear brought on by sensationalized media in balance with reality.
